What are net fares?

Top

Airlines sell tickets at a discounted rate to us when they are not sure of selling all the tickets themselves. These tickets are said to be sold at net fares. You the customers benefit when this happens.

Is the Fare Guaranteed?

Fare is guaranteed at time of booking only when accompanied by a valid credit card payment. In the event of a credit card transaction being declined for any reason, fare is subject to change until a valid form of payment is received by Vyom Travels. Vyom Travels may re-book certain itineraries due to routing problems or schedule changes. The new itinerary will be mailed to you.

How do I make payments?

We accept American Express, Visa, Master card & Discover Card.

Do you charge for credit card transactions?

Vyom Travels will not charge an extra fee for credit card transactions unless the airline involved will not accept credit cards for our net fares. There are a number of major carriers that do accept credit cards for our fares with no additional fee. We will only charge you when the airline charges us, not across the board as some travel agents do. We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Master card, and American Express.

How can I pay for a relative''s air ticket?

You have two options:

1. Thru Credit Card: Your credit card can be accepted, provided you complete our credit card authorization form along with a copy of your credit card(Front and back side) and Drivers License to our Fax # XXX-XXX-XXXX. We will get the approval from your credit card company and then do the booking for you.

2. Thru Check: We will accept cashiers check/Money Order. Send us an email about your travel plans, full name as in passport for us to make a booking. After we receive your payment, we will issue the ticket. Please make the Check/Money Order payable to Vyom Travels and send it to 355,N Wolfe Rd,# 732,Sunnyvale,CA-94085 .

When are tickets issued?

Tickets are issued on the day we receive payment. They are generally sent out the same day or the following day, depending on the situation.

What about re-funds, cancellations or changes?

Tickets issued prior to departure are re-fundable, subject to a cancellation fee and any airline penalties that may apply. Tickets must be sent back to Vyom Travels for processing. Changes either before a trip is taken or on the return flight may also be done, again, with whatever applicable fees and charges may apply. Re-funds are not available after departure. Complete details of fees and charges are available in the booking area of our web site. Reservations may be cancelled either by calling us. It just depends on how the reservation was made. If a reservation has not been ticketed, there are no cancellation fees or charges.

Can we make changes to the ticket once it is booked?

Name changes are not permitted. Please verify the accuracy of all information before submitting a booking for ticketing. Vyom Travels is unable to absorb fees imposed by carriers for the re-issue of tickets due to incorrect information or to correct spelling errors. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of information supplied. To avoid errors, it is suggested that the passengers’ names and ages be matched and double-checked against the passport information at the time of booking.

Frequent Flyer/Special Meal or Seating Requests:
Once booked and ticketed, it is the responsibility of the passenger, to contact the airlines to give Frequent Flyer account information, request special meals, or to arrange seating.

Travel Documents:
It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure valid passport and entry visas are obtained for all destinations.

Will I still receive frequent flyer mileage for net fare tickets?

Normally, the answer is yes. You just need to give the number to the airport agent at check in. There are a few carriers that will not give mileage credit however. Details on which airlines do not may be found in the details section of our fare information.

How will I know I have a confirmed reservation and a seat assignment?

Top

The e-mail you receive when you purchase your ticket includes your purchase confirmation number. If you have a PNR, your reservation is confirmed. To be sure you have a seat assignment, arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before your flight''s departure and check in promptly. Whether you use a paper ticket or an e-ticket, early check-in is necessary.
